Timothy Curtis (b. 1982, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.) is a self-taught artist who lives and works in New York City. Since establishing a focused studio practice in 2015, Curtis realized his first solo exhibition in November 2017 at Kaikai Kiki’s Hidari Zingaro gallery in Tokyo, Japan, curated by Takashi Murakami. In June 2019, Curtis had his first New York City solo exhibition titled Things to Remember at Albertz Benda Gallery, New York. In October 2019, Curtis’s work was included in The Drawing Center’s highly anticipated exhibition The Pencil is a Key, Drawings by Incarcerated Artists in New York.
